MONTANA TO TEXAS THROUGH MY EYES
This was taken by a fire fighter in the Bitterroot Valley in one of the worst fire seasons in almost 100 years.

These are a few pictures I have from my travels. I cover about 50,000 miles of Montana in any given year. I keep my camera handy because you never know what wonders are around the next corner.
This is the Swan Mountain range about one hour north east of Missoula.
This guy was a little apprehensive about having his picture taken.
I caught these in about a half hour on a little stream called Spotted Dog, which runs through a ranch just north of the town of Deer Lodge. I don't think anyone else has fished this stream in about 20 years. I had to sneak up to the stream on my hands and knee so not the scare the fish.
These Buffalo are right at home on a 100,000 acre ranch just west of Deer Lodge.
I was waiting for clients, he was waiting for dinner.
In 1992 when my Mother who lived in Kansas City died her little friend here came to live with me. She had never seen Montana, but It didn't take her long to become a mountain dog and until the day she died (at 21 years old) she would't let me leave the house without her. I know we looked a little strange together since I'm 6'4" and she's 6" but she thought she was 6'. Sad to say that she past away Aug. 2003 at the age of 21, she is missed.
